This one day relay starts in Courtenay, British Columbia on Vancouver Island and follows the spectacular scenic highway to Nanaimo. Each team must consist of 10 runners. Each runner runs one stage. The relay route winds it way through picturesque Vancouver Island communities. Teams are expected from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
